Rainbow Eyes

Rainbow Eyes

I created this look simply because I love summer and the warmer months. This rainbow look reminds me of the days I spend with my best friend, sipping cocktails in the backyard just chillin out with some good music and even better company. The brightness brings a certain joy to my heart where it feels like these colours could perfectly describe how I feel inside on days like that. I personally think these colours go great with my blue eyes, but because of all the colours used, would go well on every eye colour.

Red Lips

The Perfect Red Lip

I used:
Maybelline Lip Liner- Red
NYX - Electra
Inglot - Concealer 01

Tips For Lips:

Firstly, you want to start with clean, smooth and soft lips. My suggestion is to wear a lip moisturiser to bed every night. I use Nivea Lip Conditioner. This will ensure your lips will soak up all the moisture over night and leave your lips feeling wonderful.

Secondly, exfoliate your lips. I generally do mine while I'm in the shower. I will brush my teeth, then ... scrub my lips with my toothbrush, and make sure you clean your toothbrush thoroughly after doing so to get the dead skin off it. Doing this often will keep your lips smooth and soft.

Now onto the make up.

Moisturize your lips before you start your make up. Do everything first and your lips last so the Lip Moisturiser will sink in.

Then, if your lips are very pigmented, you can conceal them to get the truest colour. Then after concealer, line your lips with a red liner. This step - Firstly acts like a base to your lipstick, if your lipstick fades, the liner will still be there, secondly It will stop the lipstick from feathering out the product. The lipstick can often feather and sink into the fine lines into your lips and you definitely don't want that with such a bold lip colour like red.

Once that's done, you can move onto the lipstick. Using your favourite red colour, you can apply it either from the tube or using a little lip brush. I use a brush to get a really fine line.

After that, you're almost done!

Next, take a tissue. Any tissue is fine. fold it in half and press your lips onto it. This will remove any excess lipstick that could end up on your shirt somehow (it's possible). Your coffee cup, your boyfriend/partner/husband or on your teeth. Then, you can also wrap your lips around your finger to get the excess off from the inside.

Then, if you like - to make the lips a bit more defined, go around them with concealer to perfect the line, and then ... you're done!
